How do I register for the Palma Admission Placement Exam?

It is important that your son register for one of our placement exams. Please sign up for one of these test times by contacting the Admission Office. The fee for the admission test is $75.00 and can paid in advance by mailing it to Palma School/Office of Admission 919 Iverson St., Salinas, CA 93901 or can be paid the day of the test. If you have any questions regarding our testing and these dates, please contact Chris Dalman at Palma School's Admission Office.

Does my son, who is a currently an 8th grader at Palma, need to take the Palma Admission Placement exam?

No. The Admission Office utilizes school wide testing results, preformed at school in the month of October.

Are there financial aid and/or scholarship opportunities available for incoming students?

Yes. Palma works with families on a confidential basis to ensure that qualified students have the opportunity to attend our school. A limited amount of financial aid is available to families who show a demonstrated need.
There are two scholarships available for incoming 7th and 9th graders. One is the Blessed Edmund Rice scholarship, which is open to a student entering Palma from a school within the Diocese of Monterey. The second is the Palma Leadership Award, offered to a student entering Palma from a public school within Monterey County. More information regarding these scholarships can be attained by contacting the Admission Office.
Palma does not award athletic scholarships.

How do I apply for financial aid?

1. Complete the online application and receive a decision from the Palma Admission Committee.
2. Register your son on Wednesday, February 23rd or Thursday, February 24th.
3. Complete financial aid process through F.A.S.T. by the first Friday in May.

2. Math Teacher Recommendation Form (from student's current teacher)
3. English Teacher Recommendation Form (from student's current teacher)
4. Official Transcript from Current School
