Visit Us

Palma offers prospective students and their families a variety of chances to experience the diverse people and programs that make up the Palma community.

Our goal is to provide for applicants a sense of what distinguishes Palma as one of the leading college-preparatory schools in the area by familiarizing them with everyday life on campus, both in and out of the classroom. Please consider taking advantage of one, or all of the opportunities to visit campus. We look forward to welcoming you!

Open House

Open house is a great way for applicants and their families to get acquainted with our campus, our faculty, and some of our students. Open House is an in-depth look into our curriculum, athletics, and extra curricular activities offeredto our students by our outstanding faculty and staff. Admission and administrative staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

This year’s Open House will be held on Sunday, November 6th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Visitation Days

  • Wednesday, December 7th: 8:15 am - 12:30 pm
  • Monday, January 9th: 8:15 am - 12:30 pm

Our Visitation Days are geared towards prospective students that want to get an idea of what everyday life on Palma’s campus looks like. Along with other prospective students, your son will spend a half-day on campus. Our student ambassadors will guide their groups through presentations by the Principal, Admission Director, and other teachers, as well as lead them on a campus tour, experiencing classes as our students do. Groups will finish with lunch in our cafeteria with their ambassador. Applicants will arrive at 8:15am and the day will conclude at 12:15pm. Please contact Chris Dalman in the Office of Admission by phone (831.422.6391) or by email (dalman@palmahs.org) to reserve a spot.

Shadow Days

In addition to our group visitation days, we also invite prospective students to a more individual experience at school. Shadow Days will give each applicant the chance to experience life on campus as a student. Applicants will be matched with a student ambassador based on age and interests, and shadowthem through the first part of their academic school day. Prospective students are encouraged to take full advantage of their host; asking questions of a peer is oneof the best ways to become acquainted with student-life at Palma. Shadow Days typically begin at 8:15am and end at 11:30am.

This year’s Shadow Program will start on September 15th, and will be available every Wednesday (excluding holidays and breaks) through the month of April.
