Palma is proud to be continually upgrading and modernizing
our athletic facilities so that they can best serve the needs of our
student-athletes.

In fall 2007 the football practice field was replaced with a
state of the art, all weather, 8 lane track and the grass field was replaced
with a synthetic turf field, enabling our soccer and football teams to practice
and play on an even, reliable surface, regardless of the weather conditions. In
2007 a brand new wrestling facility was also opened, providing a unique space
for our team to practice The fall of 2004 saw the opening of the Brother
O’Grady Memorial Baseball field, which can seat over 300 spectators, and is the
home field for Palma’s championship baseball team.. The gym is home to Palma’s
basketball and volleyball teams, has room to host over 1,000 spectators, and
also houses two locker rooms, and a fully equipped weight training facility.
Palma is proud to partner
with local facilities to accommodate sporting events that we do not yet have a
venue for on campus. Hartnell College is home to our water polo, and swimming
and diving teams, while Laguna Seca Golf Ranch hosts our golf team. The Salinas
Sports complex, a venue that can welcome 17,000 Chieftain fans, is the home
field for Palma’s legendary football team. All of these venues are a short
drive from Palma’s campus.
