    Palma’s Summer Enrichment Program, IM2 Begins on June 13

    Impressive Minds, Impressive Moves: IM2 is Palma School’s co-ed summer enrichment program for children grades five through twelve. The program offers a variety of activities from outdoor field and gym sports to cooking, academic reviews, music, ceramics, nutrition and iPad skills.     Joey Burlison ’18 Advances to the State Golf Finals

    At the NorCal Golf Finals held at Corral de Tierra Country Club on May 23rd, Joey Burlison ’18 shot even-par 72 to finish tied for seventh, qualifying for the state finals next month.

    Jack Burlison ’15 was named MVP of his golf team at Amherst College along with being selected First Team All Conference in the NESCAC. And, his older brother, Jay (’13), made it through US Open Local Qualifying in Houston and has advanced to Sectional Qualifying which will be held on June 6 in Houston. Jay is currently attending Rice University on a golf scholarship.

    Palma golf teams have been MBL Champions 14 years in a row and have advanced to NorCals eight times in the last 10 years. This year’s team is no exception, placing third in CCS and earning a berth in NorCals, which will be played on Monday, May 23rd.

    Austin Hussain ’15 Named All-American and Freshman of the Year

    Austin Hussain ’15 swam in the NCAA Division II Nationals and was named “All-American.” He was also honored as “Freshman of the Year” at Fresno Pacific where he holds the third fastest time in school history in the 200 free, 1:38.53. Congratulations Austin!
