Cash, Check and Credit Card Gifts  

Palma is grateful for gifts made by cash, check, or credit card. Whether you are making a pledge payment or a gift to the Palma Fund, the school accepts gifts charged to MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover as a convenience to our donors. Payments can be made by using our secure online system or by calling the Advancement Office. If you prefer to write a check, please make your check payable to Palma School and mail to:

Pledges

You may make a commitment to Palma School payable throughout the fiscal year. Pledges allow you to give more generously over time than would be possible through a single contribution. For your convenience, we are happy to arrange a payment schedule for payment by check and we will bill you monthly, quarterly or semi-annually. Simply fill out the Pledge Form available on this webpage. If you wish to have your monthly payment charged to your credit card, please make your pledge online. Your card will automatically be charged on the 15th of each month.

Appreciated Securities (Stock)

Making your gift by donating stock to Palma School can result in significant tax savings. Please contact the Advancement Office for instructions on how to transfer such gifts.

1. You avoid paying capital gains on the appreciated value of the stock if held longer than one year; and
2. you can receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock when the gift is made.

Matching Gifts

Imagine your employer doubling or even tripling the amount of your gift!  Many companies have matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions given by their employees. Some will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses. To enroll in a matching gift program, simply contact your human resources offices for the appropriate forms and forward them with your gift to the school for completion.

Gifts-in-Kind

The donation of goods or commodities relevant to our educational programs is welcomed. Please contact the Advancement Office to arrange a gift.

Planned Giving

A bequest is a simple yet meaningful way to make a gift to Palma School. Made as part of your will, you can make it for a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. The advantage of making a gift through a bequest is that the gift estate taxes are reduced or avoided.  Please visit the Planned Giving section (link) for more information.

Honorary and Memorial Gifts

Gifts may be made in honor or memory of an individual on the occasion of a anniversary, birthday, graduation, or significant life event. The family members of those being remembered or the individual so honored receives notification of the gift identifying the donor but without specifying the amount of the gift.  

All gifts to Palma School are tax-deductible and are acknowledged and receipted through the Advancement Office.
