Perhaps more than any century before, the 21st Century is poised to change our way of life in its entirety. Already, it is transforming the way we communicate, govern, innovate, and learn. In education, the past decade has seen numerous benefits and challenges emerging from technology.

Palma’s rich tradition and commitment to the education of the whole person includes providing a 21st Century education with access to the most advanced technology and learning resources. At Palma, we have embraced this new era as we prepare our students for success in college and beyond.

Palma chose iPads because they’re high quality, ultra-portable, versatile devices with an easy learning curve. iPads strike a balance between cost, performance, battery life, and flexibility that makes them an ideal fit for Palma.

Devices must support a myriad of functions both in and out of the classroom; email correspondence, ebook reading, web research, testing, and more. iPads are essential to what we do in the classroom, on the field, and at home.

New Students may bring an iPad device already owned or purchase a new one.

Returning Students may keep using their current iPad or purchase a new one.

The following iPad models are recommended for use at Palma School:
