Transfer Students

7-11th Grade Students in good standing are always welcomed to transfer to Palma School.
Palma accepts transfer students in grades 7 through 11. We cannot accept a transfer student in grade 12. In order to be eligible for a transfer, the student must be in good standing. Students who are under suspension or expulsion or have a GPA under 2.0 will not be eligible to transfer.

To be considered for transfer, the student must:
  • Fill out the online application.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from his English and math teachers.
  • Arrange to have a current transcript sent to Palma.
  • Schedule a Shadow Day, which will include an interview with Palma's admissions team.

Transfer students DO NOT need to schedule a Placement Exam. Transfer students wishing to participate in sports will need to consult with the Athletic Director (831.422.6391 x229) to determine eligibility based on CCS rules and regulations.

Please note: financial aid is available to families with demonstrated need on a first-come first-served basis which is usually exhausted by the beginning of the fall semester. However, if you meet the qualifications, you are encouraged to apply as some financial aid awards go unclaimed.
