The Palma Fund is the financial cornerstone of the School’s continuing growth and excellence. What makes The Palma Fund unique is its directness. Through a gift to The Palma Fund, you are taking on the everyday challenges of running a school. From technology upgrades to financial aid, from broken light bulbs to classroom and laboratory enhancements, your gift has an immediate and significant impact for the school, but more importantly, for each individual student. The changes we are able to make through money donated to The Palma Fund directly impact the following areas of campus life.

In keeping with Edmund Rice’s mission to provide quality education regardless of finances, our financial assistance program recognizes that diversity enriches the learning experience for all students. Providing financial aid ensures that Palma’s learning environment continues to be both diverse and inclusive. Traditionally, about 43% of our students received financial aid or a scholarship.

We recognize that learning is a life-long endeavor by providing professional development opportunities to our faculty and enhancements to our curriculum.

Keeping our students connected to a rapidly changing world is paramount to preparing them for institutions of higher learning. Palma’s campus is constantly undergoing hardware and software updates to accommodate new technologies. Palma’s 1:1 iPad program integrates the most current generation of 32GB iPads into the education of every young man on our campus. Tomorrow is here; Palma is ready.

Gifts to the Palma Fund provide the resources needed to enrich music and art programs on campus. Students now have the opportunity to work with music specialists in percussion and winds, to play new drums in the marching band, and to explore their creativity in digital art, film studies, studio art or architectural design.

Contributions to our greatest need allow us to respond to unforeseen challenges within the school year and help us to promote a learning environment that is strong in traditional values, rich in diversity and solid in its academic foundation.
