Matthew Saldaña Tops the Podium — Again

On Sunday, April 23rd, the Palma Mountain Biking team competed in the fourth race of the season. In what’s become a familiar theme, Matthew Saldaña ’19 topped the podium, pedaling to another first place finish in his age bracket. Noah Anderson ’22 faced stiff competition being placed in a higher age bracket, but found he was up for the challenge finishing 31st out of 35 older, more experienced bikers. The team is now heading to the final race this weekend at Six Sigma Ranch and Winery in Lower Lake, CA. The California State Championship will be held on May 13-14th at Five Springs Farm in Petaluma. Go Chieftains!
