Palma English I Honors Places Third in 2017 IXL Learning Showdown

Students in this year’s English I Honors course at Palma School accepted the challenge posed by to participate in their “Learning Showdown.” The competition, which began on April 1, challenged students to log onto IXL’s website and answer as many English questions as they could during the course of the month-long contest. Palma’s English I Honors class answered 2,015 questions per student which put them in third place in the high school grade division. Internationally, more than 15,000 classes participate in the showdown annually.

Palma is a private, college-preparatory school for boys in grades 7 through 12 owned and operated by the Christian Brothers Institute of California.
