Rob Bishop Appointed Palma School Athletic Director

Palma School is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Bishop as Athletic Director. Bishop has been at CSU Monterey Bay for nine years where he led the men’s basketball program. Prior to assuming his duties at CSUMB, Bishop was an assistant coach at Northern Arizona University, assistant coach at CSU Chico, and a coach at Chico High School and Junior High School. Bishop holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from CSU Chico in physical education. He resides in the Monterey Bay area with his wife Holly and their two daughters Courtney and Ashley.

"I am very excited, honored and humbled to be the next Athletic Director at Palma School. Palma has always been known for its academic rigor and athletic success. I look forward to joining the Palma family and continuing these traditions," stated Bishop.

Bishop will officially begin his duties as Athletic Director on May 22, 2017.

Palma is a private, college-preparatory school for boys in grades 7 through 12 owned and operated by the Christian Brothers Institute of California.
