Chieftain Alums Celebrate Monterey’s Birthday

On Saturday, June 3, Spencer Gamble ’13 and Andrew Todd ’13, friends since kindergarten, served as Cake Bearers at the annual La Merienda Festival in the Memory Garden of the Custom House Plaza in Monterey. This event celebrated Monterey’s 247th year as a city. Mayor Clyde Roberson, State Senator Bill Monning, and retired Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta were all in attendance. Director of Campus Ministry, Jim Micheletti, provided an invocation.
