Rev. Ken Laverone, OFM ’69 Will Celebrate Mass During Alumni Weekend

Palma School’s Alumni Weekend, scheduled to begin on September 22nd, will conclude with Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 24th held in the Blessed Edmund Rice Chapel on Palma’s campus. Fellow Chieftain, Rev. Ken Laverone, OFM ’69 will be the celebrant. Fr. Ken has long been interested in the history of the mission system in California and has conducted a wide body of research. Laverone was part of the canonization ceremony on September 23, 2015, presenting a brief biography of Fr. Serra to Pope Francis in Spanish. Make you plans to join Fr. Ken and fellow Chieftains at the Mass on Sunday, September 24th. There will be continental breakfast reception immediately following on campus.
