Chieftains Deliver Beyond the Call of Duty

Eight Chieftains (Erick Lombardi ’21, Jaden Mendoza ’20, Jakob Reinhardt ’20, Carlos Esquivel ’21, Trevor Mendoza ’18, Julian Garcia ’21, Finian Rawson ’18, Jake Ottone ’18 and one alum (Nick Ottone ’16 – not pictured) helped deliver rice and beans to our South County farm workers. These guys were troopers. It took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from Gonzales to Soledad due to really heavy traffic (normally a 10-minute drive. They could have bailed, but a Chieftain does what is necessary. New motto for Campus Ministry: "Always An Adventure!"
