4x400 Team Places First at MTJAL Championships

The MTJAL track & field championships were held at North Monterey County on May 10th. Palma’s 4x400 team consisting of eigth graders Logan Nunez, Fernando Medina, Moises Benito, and James Ferrasci, finished in first place with a season best time of 3:59.1. Other standout individual accomplishments included James Ferrasci’s victory in the 400M dash with a season best time of 56.6 seconds as well as Moises Benito’s second place finish in the 1600M with a season best time of 4:53.
