Sam Stoutenborough ’18 Drafted by the Los Angeles Angels

Palma’s stand-out pitcher and Monterey Herald’s Baseball Player of the Year in 2017 Sam Stoutenborough ’18 was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 40th round of the MLB draft. Stoutenborough had declined offers in the 4th and 5th rounds citing his desire to make good on his commitment to UC Berkeley, which he will start in the Fall.
