Tommy Did Well at State

Tommy Padilla ’19 represented Palma this past weekend at the CIF Cross Country State Championships. He was the 6th fastest runner from Monterey County and placed 31st statewide in Division 4. Tommy accomplished a lot in cross-country at Palma including: first freshman to qualify for State, fastest freshman time in a 5k, three-time State qualifier, two-time all league runner up (behind Sam Lavorato ’19), and three-time Salinas City Championship runner up (twice behind Sam Lavorato ’19). Congratulations, Tommy! (Shown here with Coach Cornejo.)
