New Book Sends Proceeds to Palma

Ted Gray, one of the men in blue with whom Chieftains have shared literary interpretations of Steinbeck and others at Soledad State Prison, has recently collaborated on his own book; Men Built For Others: Life Lessons from Those Serving Life Sentences. The book is a sobering, eye-opening and powerfully engaging compilation of the harrowing journey life can take when one fails to value himself and the sanctity of human life. In a gesture of gratitude toward Chieftains being present and offering hope to those incarcerated, all of the proceeds from book sales will go directly to Palma School. The book is available on Amazon. You are encouraged to get a copy for yourself. It also makes a great gift. Thank you, Ted, for your generosity.
