Mock Trial Update

Defending champs, Carmel High, got the win over a spirited effort from our prosecution team on Monday night, but the stats do not tell the whole story. With a win over Catalina last week, the Chieftains are still very much in contention, especially since the two undefeated teams, Carmel and PG, face each other tomorrow night. A strong effort by our defense against Alvarez on Wednesday will go a long way toward putting us back near the top.

Try to make time to see Palma's Mock Trial team in action. The remaining rounds will take place on Wednesday at 5:30 and Saturday morning at 8:30. They will be held at the Monterey County Courthouse at 1200 Aguajito Road in Monterey (behind MPC). The boys have been working hard since September, and it’s truly impressive to watch them stand before real judges and attorneys to argue their case. This year’s cases concern human trafficking and false imprisonment.
