Thanks to the hard work and relentless pursuit of the Palma community, we have raised $45,240 so far this year and are well within reach of our $50,000 goal by June 30th. When reached, we will have raised $100,000 in two years. This will be truly amazing!
The Rico family appreciates everyone who joined us on Saturday, May 5th at the LLS Man of the Year Grand Finale. Jorge gave a great speech. I want to personally thank you for helping me earn the Mike Van Horn award. I am honored and humbled by this prestigious award.
When Jorge was first diagnosed, I asked “why him, why us?” The real question is “why not us?” In addition to raising nearly $100,000, team JorgeStrong has signed up more than 120 people to the bone marrow registry. More importantly, we have become advocates, and continue to gain advocates, for those living with blood cancer. And, this is only the beginning. Thank you all!
