Student Life

Clubs & Activities

A strong and active student body forms the foundation of student life at Palma School.
Education is not contained within a classroom. Successful students pursue interests and passions as a part of a well-rounded school experience. Chieftains endeavor to broaden their horizons through a wealth of leadership opportunities, academic and interest-based clubs, as well as service activities that are available.

Most clubs are student created, student driven, and student led and Chieftains are encouraged to foster new friendships and enjoy new experiences through these diverse and creative activities.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The all-boy format of Palma School does not preclude us from offering activities found at most schools. Other activities include Junior High dances, High School dances, Homecoming, Fifth Quarter "Socials" after home football games, High School Winter Ball, Junior High Semi-Formal, and Palma/Notre Dame Junior-Senior Prom. An annual college-fair is held in the Steve Clayton Memorial Gym in the fall.

A HEALTHY BALANCE

Colleges also look at student activities outside of the classroom. Admissions directors can often gauge the depth of a student by his participation in extra-curricular activities and the leadership and passions they reveal.
    • More than 80 colleges were represented on campus in 2017 at the annual college fair.
