Acceptable Devices at Palma School
The following iPad models meet the baseline requirements at Palma. Newer models are always recommended, but not required:
Recommended minimum hard drive space: 64GB
The iPad mini is not recommended due to poor performance with older models and small screen size.
iPad Program
Palma chose iPads because they’re high quality, ultra-portable, versatile devices with an easy learning curve. iPads strike a balance between cost, performance, battery life, and flexibility that makes them an ideal fit for Palma. Devices must support a myriad of functions both in and out of the classroom; email correspondence, eBook reading, internet research, testing, and more. iPads are essential to what we do in the classroom, on the field, and at home.
